Weekend

We kicked off the weekend by babysitting Emily so her parents could have a date night. We really enjoyed her but she did not enjoy us. She spent 3/4 of the night standing at the door, holding her coat and crying "momma". ha! She had been in mother's day out and was pretty tired by the time she got to us (or that is what I'm telling myself). She was very sweet and easy to keep.
Today I just did work around the house and then went to over to Laurie's to help her update her blog and teach her a few tricks. Check back with her - I think she'll start updating a lot more. Tonight we went out to eat for our friend Guy's birthday. We ate at our favorite place - Doe's.

This is Mike and Kacy
Steve and the birthday boy Guy
Us ( and yes I'm wearing the Gap dress I liked so much - I got myself a treat!)
Julie and Laurie (and Emily was there but I didn't get her picture)

We have a lot going on at church tomorrow so we will literally be there almost all day - from 7:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a small afternoon break. It's going to be a busy day - but I know it will be great!

Eminem loves Aunt Kelly so I'm sure she was just having and off night! It's find of funny that she stood at the door though!

I'm glad you've helped LO with her blog!

Ok, I'm jealous of your dress! I went to the website to check it out after seeing it on your blog. Of course, it is already selling out! Too cute. Sounds like a fun weekend.

Thanks for the comment on my blog. Your Gap dress is very cute!! :) That is my favorite one of the ones you had posted pictures of. I don't think there is anyway I could know you, but you look so familiar! I read through some of your old blog entries and saw Magnolia mentioned. I am assuming AR? My mom teaches at SAU there!

Her little expression is so cute. I can just see the attitude of not being impressed. My girl gives me similar looks all the time. = )

I love Doe's! And I love your dress! Seriously, you are making me want to shop!

I am so sad Miss Arkansas did get very far. I thought she was one of the prettiest ones.

Love the dress. I broke down and bought the cute little purple one from the Gap yesterday, based on your post from the other day! You enabler, you! :) (Like it takes much for me to justify a new dress!)

Hey! I grew up in North LA right on the AR state line. My mom commutes to SAU. My husband went to SAU for 2 years before he transferred to NLU in Monroe where I was. How funny! It really is a small world. I'm gonna get my husband to look at your pictures to see if he recognizes your husband! I don't know if they would have been at SAU at the same time or not. I think he was there from 93-95, maybe?
Have a great week!! :)
