Christmas with the Stamps

Scott's parents got here last night and I made Christmas dinner and then we opened gifts. I got a fried turkey from Copelands and made potato casserole, green bean casserole, salad and rolls and then we had coconut cake and peanut butter pie. I believe we stuffed ourselves silly.

We got all kinds of cute things and fun goodies. Too many to list and more than we deserved. Dawson's favorite gift was this stuffed duck that quacks. He played with it all night long.

We gave and got lots of razorback things - here is Scott's dad with his razorback jacket. I got Scott one too so they could be twinkies.

Scott's mom loves coffee so we got her a starbucks basket of goodies
I got their dogs some cute little bandanas that they hate wearing
Dawson just loves Christmas!
I had to work today and this afternoon we went to the movies to see "I am Legend". Save your money. Scott's parents haven't been to a movie in 20 years and I'm afraid they will never go to another one now. It was horrible and scary. Then we ate at Chili's and then went and got coffee on the square.

1.Ughhh... I know what you mean about the movie!! We went to see it and I spent the whole night with my turtle neck over my eyes. I hate being scared! David was loving the fact that I was totally ALL OVER HIM during the whole movie. Ha ha ha...

2.Your hair looks darker. Did you color it? I really like it!

3.Dawson looks so happy with his duck! I love my lil' Bichon dog. I know you love yours, too! :

I love being able to continue Christmas celebrations after the 25th. There have been years that our family has had to do that due to people's schedules. I think it's so much fun. It looks like y'all had a great time!

I am so impressed with your cooking Christmas dinner! I get out of cooking anything, because we have so many places to be on Christmas day. Sometimes I think it would be nice to be able to prepare the meal and have everyone over.

Yes, I get ragged on a lot for being from Arkansas. The long running joke was that I had a car with a floorboard in it and didn't even have to use my feet. hardy har har But, seems like everyone down here is related in some way or the other!! Me, Dad, & Greg read over your whole blog and looked at all the pictures last night. Greg was so excited!

Hi, Kelly, I followed a link & found you here (and see that you found me too). Enjoyed seeing your home all decorated for Christmas. Looks like a lot of us got in on the Boomama home tour. Your home is beautiful, looks like we have some things in common. Looks like a great time with family.

Hope you'll stop by & visit me sometime. Looking forward to a new year, so Happy New Year to you.
