We've been "Croom"ed

We have an illness and the only cure is - MORE COWBELL!

Due to the instability of our precious hogs and our desire for a new coach.....Scott and I have been forced to find a new team to support. We of course have to stick with the best conference in the nation - the SEC. And there are certain teams I could just never root for like LSU or Tennessee.
So we decided to stick with our "brother" Mississippi. I mean Arkansas and Mississippi have a lot in common. We are the poorest states. We are the "dumbest"states. We boast the highest rates of teenage pregnancies. We seem to settle for mediocrity in our football programs. And frankly - we would choose Ole Miss but they flash to Archie Manning in the stands just way too many times for me. And we are not the snooty Grove type.
So in honor of our friends and Mississippi State Bulldog grads Steve, Mike Murray and my fellow blogger Boomama - we have gone Maroon and white! Mike and Kacy picked us up these shirts on their weekend trip to Starksville and we are wearing them with pride. Scott got a mini cowbell because he has to earn his way up to the BIG cowbell!
GO Dogs - BEAT UAB!

Well, I was born and raised in Arkansas as well but I have officially crossed over. I'll just let the success of the Longhorns speak for itself. ;-)

And please help me by telling me how you're finding the special blog templates. I need some spice in mine.

Have you lost your minds!!
The only time I'll not be root'n for the HOGS is when I've assumed room temperature. I thought I raised you better than that. I suffered through Jack Crow, Danny Ford and to a certain extent Houston Nutt. I'm in my 41st consecutive year of being a die-hard Hogmaniac and I would never even think of ringing a cow bell.

This is funny! L became a Florida Gators fan 2 or 3 seasons ago because of his strong desire for a new AR coach. He ordered a Gators t-shirt and wears it on a daily basis. jlg

That was such a funny post! I have no connection to either team so I can't call you a traitor, but I can tell you that your shirts are cute!

Oh no! Come back!!!

I can't believe somebody actually suggested the Longhorns. We are not allowed to wear anything orange in our family!

This has made my day!! The only problem is that we might be looking for a new coach too.

This MADE MY DAY - that is hysterical. And the cowbell is perfection.

And can I just say AMEN to the Archie coverage? Drives me CRAZY. But I did see Archie's wife in a store in MS a couple of years ago, and she was perfectly gracious and lovely. a real Southern belle.

And p.s.

I'm totally emailing this link to Coach Croom. Because he really does check his email and respond to it, NOT THAT I'VE EMAILED HIM OR ANYTHING, AHEM.
