We have a few more weeks of this and then if you can think of any suggestions and enjoy the Friday tours - maybe we could find some other themes? I've had wedding pictures suggested. Any other ideas?

Today is bathrooms. We have 3 bathrooms. This is the bathroom that is between the guest room and Harper's room. When we moved in - I found a bunch of "jungle" themed things that went with a set of pictures I already had (you can see in the mirror) - so I just kind of went with that. I think I got everything at T J Maxx. I've been wanting to change it up but couldn't decide if I wanted to make it girly to go with Harper's room or what. I have other rooms I'd rather work on first. :-)
When Scott and I got married - we decided it was in the best interest of both of us to have separate bathrooms. ha! Best move we ever made. So this is Scott's bathroom. Honestly - it works so well for us. We can get ready at the same time and never argue over counter space or showers. Except when we go on vacations and have to share a bathroom - it throws us off. ha! ha!
And this is MY bathroom (or the master bath). Do any of you have glass showers? They are SO hard to keep clean? I'd love to hear your tips if you have any!
I'm afraid bathrooms (at least mine) aren't too exciting but I know some of you will have very interesting ones and it's always fun to peek!!!

Tomorrow's Friday!!!

Today has been a much better day! Harper has been so happy and sweet today!

I got her dressed this morning and she looked so sweet in this little white romper that I had to prop her up for a few pictures!
I let her wear her little Robeez shoes for the first time today - aren't her little legs and feet adorable?

(Ha - I am laughing so hard that I just saw in the comments ya'll pointed out her shoes were on the wrong feet. They totally ARE!!!!! I'm a terrible mother. I didn't even realize - I just slipped them on because I was trying to quickly take pictures before she got frustrated!) (Ya'll are WAY more observant than I am)

She's looking at them like - "now how am I supposed to eat my feet with those things???"

We ate lunch today with my friend Jenna and her son Brayden. Brayden is the baby who was in the NICU the same time as Harper (only different towns). They are 3 days apart. This is the first time we have gotten together since they were born and it was good to talk to someone who walked the same road. We were talking about how it's so hard for us to think about the early days of their little lives but here they are turning 5 months next week and they are perfect and healthy. I can't begin to describe to you how thankful I am. (Play Group friends - sorry I missed you - I thought play group was over for the summer???? OOPS?)

Harper and I met the cutest blog reader at the mall and I can remember the name because I'm a big "Friends" fan - so hi Courtney Cox! Nice to meet you today! :-)
I know most of you who live in my area (hopefully) saw this last night judging by all the pictures on facebook. (ha!) We were having storms here last night and I came out of Wal-Mart around 8:30 and saw this............the biggest, most complete rainbow I've ever seen. And I've NEVER seen a rainbow at night - have you? It was unbelievable. I wish my pictures were better - I couldn't get it all. People were walking out and dropping their jaws and everyone was taking pictures. And I started thinking of how the rainbow is a symbol of God's promise. And you normally see it in the daytime after a storm has passed and the sun has come out. But last night this was up while it was still thundering and lightening and dark outside. And I couldn't help but smile thinking what a beautiful picture of how God has promised to be with us during the darkest of times when we can't see the daylight coming along with the "daylight" times of our lives.

I know after the issues we had this week - you may feel wary or skeptical to pray for others but there are still so many in need and I'm going to list a few. Just know that God knows what we are praying for and He hears our requests.

Have a good weekend - I'll be posting the Bathroom Tours in the morning!!! Two of my best friends from college are coming to visit me tomorrow and meet Harper and I'm SO excited .....but I have to scoot because I have a lot to do to get ready!

This is Harper's Hook em Horns outfit in honor of her aunt and uncle - the Texas grads. I don't know what on earth possessed me to let her wear a burnt orange outfit and bow but all you TX fans enjoy. If I could just teach her the "down horns" sign.
It's been a rough morning here at our house. Little sunshine had an "issue" this morning so we ended up at the doctor's office and they tried to pull blood from her (exhibit a. - her right arm) and I was in the other room and could hear her screaming her lungs out. It was just awful. So they sent us to the hospital to try again. (exhibit b. - her left arm). This time they let me stay with her and I held her head and sang her favorite song "I'm a little teapot" and she smiled the whole time. But in between - while we were being "admitted" to the hospital she screamed so loud the whole hospital was looking because she was tired and hungry. Bless her sweet heart. So in a week - we should find out if she has any food allergies. And I find out what I need to quit eating. Or we may be going to formula if it's a lot of things. Stay tuned.............

This afternoon, I had a knock on my door and it was my neighbor/friend Melissa. She is seriously one of the most thoughtful people I have ever met. She thought I might be having a tough week so she brought me a little gift - this CUTE, CUTE cocktail ring. I am so into big rings right now and I just ADORE this. Melissa - you have such a giving spirit!!!

Well - it's taken all day but my sweet pea is taking a nap and I don't need to waste time on the computer when I could be folding laundry (when does it ever end?????) or cleaning house. Have a great night! It's hump day!

Update: My day just got better - Scott came home and surprised me with a new iphone!!!!!! My phone was years old and now that iphones are on sale - Scott thought I could use a little lift today! Now could someone please teach me how to use it!!! Watch out - I may be "tweeting" from my phone now! I feel so high tech!
