Worship

I was recently listening to Ali Worthington on Annie Down's podcast and she was talking about how worship music is what grows her faith and when she hears from God.  I love worship music.  I always have it going in my car especially because I love for it to always be what my kids hear.  I love hearing them sing the songs and praising.

I've had several songs on repeat lately and I feel like they have kept me in a constant state of worshipping God and thinking about just how much Jesus loves me.  It gives me a chance to just say back to Him how much I love him and to stay in awe of what He has done for me.  All of these songs talk about just how much He loves us.   I thought I would share them in case you need something to listen to and to encourage you.  If you see me waving my arms around in my car - I get pretty charismatic when these songs come on!

I know we just celebrated Easter but these songs help me to celebrate Easter EVERY day! Christ died for us but He Is ALIVE! O Death -where is your sting?

Your promise still stands Great is your faithfulness Faithfulness I’m still in your hands This is my confidence You’ve never failed me yet

Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
Oh, it chases me down, fights 'til I'm found, leaves the ninety-nine
I couldn't earn it, and I don't deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God

He shall return in robes of white
The blazing sun shall pierce the night
And I will rise among the saints
My gaze transfixed on Jesus' face

Death could not hold You The veil tore before You You silence the boast of sin and grave The heavens are roaring The praise of Your glory For You are raised to life again
If the stars were made to worship so will I If the mountains bow in reverence so will I If the oceans roar Your greatness so will I For if everything exists to lift You high so will I If the wind goes where You send it so will I If the rocks cry out in silence so will I If the sum of all our praises still falls shy Then we'll sing again a hundred billion times
