Hillary's NWA shower

Tonight we had Hillary's NW AR shower at my house. It was a lot of fun and Hillary got a lot of nice things. (Warning - lots of pictures to follow)

The drink area. I have gotten a lot of use out of my drink dispenser so far. I've made this same punch for several showers and it's really good. All you do is take a couple of bags of frozen mixed berries (or any kind you like). Blend it up in a blender to a liquid form and add several spoonfuls of sugar and then add any liquid you like. I use rasberry ginger ale - but I'm sure plain or Sprite would work as well.

Hillary's wedding colors are green and black. I got these petit fours with her new monogram.
The food table - besides the petit fours, bunco buns and fruit kabobs - I had some mini quiches and Shannon brought spinach dip and queso and salsa from her family's restaurant Bizy's.

Laurie and Katie and Katie's baby Paige
Shannon and her step-mom
Hillary's sister and mom (they read my blog so I want to give them a special "hello"!!!)
Hillary opening her gifts
Hillary and Katie
Hillary and her hostesses (minus our friend Megan who lives in NC) - Laurie, Hillary, me and Shannon
Hillary gave us the cutest hostess gifts EVER - monogrammed umbrellas. I absolutely love it but I can't use it because I don't want it to get wet. ha!
Hillary also gave me an early present for baby H! These burp cloths are ADORABLE!!!!!!

I'm just so glad to see Hillary getting married soon. I prayed for her for a long time to find a husband and God out did himself on this one! She's marrying a great guy. But of course - he's getting a great girl! Now I just can't wait for the wedding! :-)

Okay, I have been looking... and looking... and LOOKING for a drink dispenser similar to the one you have - glass, etc. So, any tips? Where did you find yours?

You sure do know how to throw a good shower - and boy do you have lots to throw and go too! Just think, it'll be your turn soon! How exciting. I loved, as alwasy, the decorations, the food, it all look so yummy and fun! And what a great hostess gift idea! I have to file that one away for later use!

And how adorable are the umbrellas?!?!

That looks like seriously the cutest shower ever.

And the most adorable umbrella ever. Maybe you could use the umbrella when it's not raining...you know, like a parasol...so it doesn't get wet.

I'm totally kidding.
